It’s the first of February, isn’t this amazing? And the FC is still sitting at the breakfast table as if it is their rightful place. We don’t know what to say. Somehow one can’t be cruel to them, they are SOOO nice and somehow OneBBO always has four spare Schüsselchen ready. Well, maybe when they are finally busy with their Popcorn Business which is opening next Monday it will change.
We didn’t get a cocoa today…. although it is so cold!

It’s a funny thing about the FC, man kann ihnen nicht böse sein. Even when they turn up uninvited, they’re never any bother and always chatting away pleasantly. I don’t think I could ever turn them away, seeing their little faces crinkle up in distress.. but maybe when their Popcorn Junction shop gets going they will be too busy for a while to lurk … we shall see.
Yes it’s a bit parky today at minus 10 degrees… careful driving recommended… the whole Forest knows that I am böse erkältet at the moment… Last night I lay down on my sofa („just for 10 minutes“) at 21.30 and woke up this morning at 5.00 still lying on the sofa… I never even went to bed! It was a bit weird for a while… I thought I had died in the nicht and had been reincarnated on that „great sofa in the sky“ … but I’m still in the same existence, obviously, as one can tell from this mail….

Good to hear that the Tinny Wans are safely back home. I think the police have more or less given up trying to give Dan a speeding ticket. He keeps putting bigger and bigger supercharged engines in his bus, he’s almost impossible to catch. And the Tinny Wans stlll love it when the go through the hilly bits and „leave their stomachs suspended in mid-air“ on the way down again. Lots of squealing with delight!

Wasn’t that a great goodbye party yesterday? Of course it will be a bit emtpy now when the Tiny Ones are gone, but we can understand how they are torn between enjoying it here and wanting to go back to their country which is their home now. And we all got smartphones and web cams so we won’t loose them. And if I got that right – the PIS has even linked a few glass fibre cables to the country waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Dan will pick them up at 10 o’clock so the Foccacia will be all for us and the rest of the delicious birthday cake too waaaah
Seriously, we’ll all miss them very much but it’s no point in wallowing in Abschiedsschmerz. They will be back for Easter, that’s for sure! And I will be back tomorrow, that’s for sure too waaaaaaah

Well, you’ve just about said it all regarding the Tinny Wans… it’s a case of ein lachendes and ein weinendes Auge… because it will be nice for them to get back to their home in the Country, although it’s a bit cold there as well at the moment.
That was a great Abschiedsparty last night, you’re right, although several people had a heavy cold, I noticed, just like Yours Truly… but these are minor impairments and there’ll be a lemon and honey drink at 10 o’clock!
And you’re right about everything being networked these days; whenever we miss them we can just switch.

Well thank you again for the nice birthday greetings on my Birthday D (I believe). OneBBO is sicky. She’s got a lot to put up with at the moment, I almost feel sorry for her. Yes, one has to feel a bit sorry for OneBBO at the moment, she looks like death warmed up this morning. I wonder what upset her stomach? Probably seeing Heidi Klum in the news I reckon. We are all walking on tiptoes and being extra nice and considerate today. At least her hurt thumb – with the typical wound characteristics dolor, calor, turgor, rubor and function laesa – has improved to the point where she doesn’t need a plaster on it any more.
